...more disney fashion!

My last post has got me a little obsessed and I have now found some more amazing illustrations.

I think that the illustration is stunning and the designs are actually wearable yet you can still see which disney character is which!

Let me know what you guys think and if you've found anymore illustration inspiration!

Disney vs Vogue!

Heeyyyy! I know I've not posted for a while got a little out of the habit over summer but...... I have just found the most gorgeous fashion illustrations and thought I would share them.

The illustrations are by Dante and I love them! I've always been a huge Disney fan as I love anything that will take me somewhere else in my mind and fusing my two loves together is perfect! I think my favourites are Belle and Ariel but thats probably because they are my favourite disney princesses.

Let me know what you guys think!!!

90's Kid through and through!

New project on the go: Designing A/W 2013/14 for Marc Jacobs.
The trend I'm researching from is called Hacktivate. It's very DIY inspired, with a retro childish feel. It's really making me feel nostalgic for the 90's. As my key inspiration I've been looking at a Kidult type view on the trend. I want to bring the idea of my childhood into prints and silhouette shapes to make the designs have a fun element to them. So... here's my top 5 childhood toys;

5. Furby, I remember getting one of these for my 9th Birthday =D

4.Pokemon Cards, every kid collected them when I was little.

3. Sylvannian Families, I never actually had any but I used to LOVE going round to my friends house to play with them, she had it allll.

2. Polly Pocket. I actually had this one I loved it, when you pressed it the button bubbles went into the bath. Shame the Polly's are no longer pocket sized.

1. Coming in at No1... Barbie of course! I LOVED my barbies I had a friend who would cut the hair off hers and ruin all their clothes and I never understood why, I wanted mine PERFECT! And I of course had the spice girl barbies, What 90's girl didnt?!

Ok, so this may seem a little off track. But the idea to take this in a "Kidult" type direction had a feeling a little sentimental =D
